Schedule

I'm sorry it's been a while. A ton of crazy things have been going on on campus. Lots of orientation activities (last night we had a pool/dance party!), lots of random "let's have a tea party" gatherings, lots of academic open houses, etc. I'm really tired and running on much caffiene and ready to take a nap, but anyway, here's a quick update.

I registered for classes. I am taking bio, chem, hum, and music theory both semesters. My fall semester looks like this:

Monday:
9-9:50 Hum lecture
10-10:50 Hum conference
11-11:50 Intro Chem lecture
1:10-2 Music Theory 1
4:10-5 Intro bio lab lecture
6:10-7:30 Orchestra (no credit)

Tuesday:
9-10:20 Intro bio lecture
1:10-5 Intro bio lab

Wednesday:
9:00-9:50 Hum lecture
10-10:50 Hum conference
11-11:50 Chem lecture
1:10-2 Music Theory I
2:10-3 Music Theory lab
3:10-4 Chem conference
6:10-9 Kayaking (first quarter only)

Thursday:
9-10:20 Intro bio lecture
1:10-4 Chem lab

Friday:
9:00-9:50 Hum lecture
10-10:50 Hum conference
11-11:50 Chem lecture
1:10-2 Music Theory I
4:10-6:30 Indoor intramural soccer (second quarter only)

The time for music theory 2 is a little different second semester and apparently I can't register for PE for the spring, but yeah. Not a bad schedule. My labs are nicely spaced out and I have Friday afternoons after 2 free (well, until I take soccer, but whatevs).

Laura is taking a lot of classes I wanted to take but didn't have time to with bio and chem like intro to ancient x-tianty, Greek, and political science. Actually, we're both taking 4.5 (one more class than the reccomended number but still not an overload) units both semesters if that says anything about us.

I kind of hyperly babbled at my advisor and went on and on about all the different schedules I had considered until he was like "okay, whatever" and said that was okay and that I could drop a class if things got rough.

So yes, anyways, I am a bio major.
